Just like her parties, the life of 'Vintage Tea Party Mistress, Preservationist, & Tea.E.O.', Sophie Parrott is extraordinarily colorful...

Hailing from England, Sophie trained at the renowned Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Sir Paul McCartney & Queen Elizabeth II.

After graduating, Hollywood beckoned, where she furthered her career in TV Casting & Producing. She then moved to the beautiful mountains of Durango, Colorado, where she founded an acting training co., was Head of Feature Films for the Durango Independent Film Festival, a main judge for Spotlight to Stardom, won two Regional Emmy nominations for 2 docu-films, and brought the Henry Strater Theatre back to life.

In 2011, it was on to Austin, Texas, where The Marvelous Vintage Tea Party Co. was born.  This was founded from Sophie’s desire to entertain, create celebratory and immersive experiences, spread mass amounts of joy and preserve a piece of historic culture, just in a totally unique, hip, and rather saucy way!

A few of Sophie’s celebrity guests have been 2019 Best Actress Oscar winner Regina King, filmmaker Richard Linklater, Kelly Clarkson, Lyle Lovett, The Property Brothers, Patty Griffin, Kat Edmonson, Annalee Belle, fashion designer Austin Scarlett, Emmy & Golden Globe winning actresses Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor.

While most intimate events are 25-35 guests, Sophie has been producing events for up to 2000+ party goers over the past four years.  Naturally……she launched Marvelous Events in 2019 and has bought a 1964 English double decker bus for special events!

Whatever is next?!

Sophie’s Co. has had the privilege of being featured on E! News, People, Good Morning America, HGTV, Entertainment Wise, Yahoo OMG!, Z-Nation TV, Style Me Pretty, IDTV, NBC Austin, KUT, in Tribeza (x2), Austin Lifestyle Magazine (x3), 1440 New York, Austin Monthly (x3), Austin Chronicle, Austin American-Statesman, on the cover of Bliss Bridal Magazine, Austin Way (x2), Austin Women Magazine, and on the cover & full page feature in the Austin Business Journal.
